Water Log
Water Log is a collaboration between choreographer Jennifer Monson and British choreographer Nigel Stewart that explores the relevance of waterways in two distinctly different urban sites - Lancaster England and New York City, USA. Looking at specific cultural and natural phenomenon, we will explore the evolution of the shifting relationship of urban policy of waterways and of the waterways themselves, and devise dance projects that animate, question and re-engage communities with the urban landscapes they inhabit. We will draw out the similarities, differences and connections across continents and cultures through the transatlantic mirror imaging of the sites.
