The 2013 iLAB Residents would like to invite you to join them on Saturday July 13th, 2013 for a day of listening, walking, and mapping at Flushing Meadows Corona Park in Queens, NY. As part of their residency, Through Body, Through Earth, Through Speech, they will explore and engage with the historical and present moments of the park. The activities for the day are designed to further their inquiries into the way the park’s past still influence its identity today, and how a recognition of these failed utopian projects might shed some light on our present moment of hurried and highly problematic economic development in that area.
