Dynasty Handbag
I Never Were Again, A Concert
Dynasty Handbag returns to NYC with a new retrospective of her golden oldies, which were never recorded or released, by people she never was. Hits include a withered country ballad, a vaguely European new wave lezbo-bot dance jam, and various unfinished pill-faced lounge croons. Get ready for the concert of an imaginary lifetime—unplugged, unhinged, and uncomfortable.

nibia pastrana santiago
liquid
Born in Puerto Rico and currently based in San Juan, nibia pastrana santiago dives deep into the shifting tides of tourism and water borders in her new dance work liquid. Approaching the fraught, fluid relationship between place and visitors, between leisure and labor, pastrana explores tropical identities and the troubling parallels between colonialism and choreography. A dance-state with a definite volume but no fixed shape, liquid uses performance to examine the politics of water and bodies.
