June 21 – Final performance and party for participants and their families
iLAND and Los Jardines Institute offer their third annual move thing internship. This year’s workshops will include
video alongside dance, farm work and restoration work. This year the first week will take place at the University of New Mexico Dance Studios.
Participants will join the farm team at LJI, planting and tending to the farm, participate in field trips to Food Justice Hubs and learn about restoration at the Bosque at Valle de Oro National Wildlife Refuge. Together we will create dance and video performances from our activities to share with the public on June 13 and 21. Participants receive a stipend of $500. Lunch and snacks will be provided.
No dance experience necessary.
